The answer to both these questions is an emphatic YES!

We have been accused of running a sophisticated campaign, along with a lot of other things, of being “so called caring parents”, of not knowing what we are doing. But all we have done is state the facts.

All we have done is analyse the executive summary, get behind the spin, ask the questions about Building Schools For the Future, the impact on Communities, on standards and most of all on our children. Questions that councillors and the executive should have asked, questions that should have been answered by the Officers of the County. Questions that have not been answered.

We have an opportunity on Thursday to focus again on the education of our children. To put resources where they are needed. To redress the imbalance of support for failing schools and to revive a system that has been unfairly maligned in order to spare the blushes of the failure at County Hall.

Turn up on Thursday the 13^th. Give voice to your feelings. It is your democratic right. Exercise it.
